Danny & Family,
I have been knowing you Danny for sometime. I had the honor of meeting your mother at Lockefield Village when my grandmother was a resident there. She was the most uplifting and motivating person I have ever met. She always had a smile on her face and I admired the way she dressed. I was very honored to meet her. I remember your mom giving my grandmother a birthday card and hardly knew her. I guess that was just the way she was. I’m glad that I had a chance to talk with her and I truly enjoyed our conversations. She was already an angel, now she’s got her wings. I know that she’ll be missed by many, but I’m happy for her. May God Bless the family and ease your pain. Your Mom is still smiling (even bigger than before).
God Bless you all!

Gloria,
[This note is also from my baby sister Karen ’Clark’ Wilkins]
So very sorry to hear about you mother. Know that she, as well as our mom, who passed in September of 1988, are looking down from those pearly gates. Rest assued that they are both all right. It has been many a year since we lived across the street from one another on Capitol Avenue. Any more it seems that we don’t see each other face to face; usually we are looking down at a funeral home or wake. You are in our prayers.
